What can you do next

Local Connection

All applicants applying to B-with-us must have a local connection or be exempt from requiring a connection in order to qualify to have an active application.

You may have been directed to this page from your application, because you indicated that you do not have a local connection and are not exempt from requiring a connection. This means that you cannot have an active application with B-with-us at this time.

You are welcome to re-apply to B-with-us if your circumstances change and you do then have a local connection or exemption. In the meantime, you will need to consider searching for housing elsewhere, such as on individual Housing Association websites, as a number of organisations advertise properties on their own websites as well as on B-with-us, and may have different qualification criteria.

If you are a current tenant of a Housing Association, you may be eligible to apply for a mutual exchange - check your landlords' website to see which exchange sites they use.

Home Owners

Homeowners who apply to B-with-us must have a housing need (Bands One, Two or Three) in order to qualify for an active application.

You may have been directed to this page if you are a homeowner and have indicated that you do not have a priority need for re-housing. This means that you cannot have an active application with B-with-us at this time.

You are welcome to re-apply if your circumstances change, such as if you would qualify for a priority need, or if you have sold your property and are no longer a homeowner. In the meantime, you will need to consider searching for housing elsewhere, such as on individual Housing Association websites, as a number of organisations advertise properties on their own websites as well as on B-with-us, and may have different qualification criteria.
